The RCMP issued a statement saying it was aware that portions of the radio transmission had been leaked to the internet but that it had not given permission to use the tape because they are 'operational police communications' that are not meant for public consumption. 'Okay, Badger's at the back of the bus, hacking off pieces and eating it,' he says at the end of the approximately 80-second recording.
